Mylin IV, Feadship, Royal Van Lent, 61 meter, 1992

MYLIN IV was built for the late Ted Arison, owner of Carnival Cruise Lines. The yacht is still owned by his son Micky Arison currently Chairman and CEO at Carnival Corporation. The yacht was named after Teds wife Lin and was his fourth and last yacht.

Cheap prices forced half-year revenues down 11% to $5.8 billion; swine flu scare forced 27 ships to reroute away from Mexican ports this spring. Israeli-American took over boat business from father Ted 1990. Today operates 93 ships under 11 brands, including Cunard, Princess, Holland America. Company claims 225,000 people are sailing on its flagship fleet at any given time. Also owns pro basketball's Miami Heat.

According to company information Micky Arison and his family hold approximaltely 36% of the outstanding common stock which represents approximately 28% of the voting power.
He personnally holds 188,031,357 shares(30%). At current (December 2009) stockprices of USD 32 this represents approximately USD 6 billion. Next to this he is benifical owner, through the Nickel 1994 B Trust of another 106,114,284 shares.

His 2008 total compensation amounts to USD 8,497,576, down from USD 9,750,215 in 2007.
