The yacht Martha Ann was built by Lurssen and delivered to her owners in 2008. She was designed by Espen Oeino, with her interior created by Francois Zuretti.
Superyacht Martha Ann is owned by US real estate developer Warren E Halle. She was the third in a series of three sistership all built for this same owner. He sold the first two, and kept Martha Ann.
Buyer of the first - Apoise- was David Ritchie, one of the founders of Vancouver-based Ritchie Brothers Auctioneers. Ritchie paid EUR 65 million to Halle. However they ended up in legal proceedings in which Ritchie was ordered to pay USD 525.000 for breach of the purchasing agreement.
In May 2010 Warren E Halle also started legal action agains superyacht builder Lurssen. Superyachtfan found the following details, but has no access to any documents.
