Martin Bouygues, superyacht Baton Rouge

Superyacht Baton Rouge is owned by France industrialist Martin Bouygues.


Together with his brother he controls 19% of Bouygues Group, diversified industrial conglomerate founded by their father in 1952. Martin Bouygues is chairman and chief executive; Olivier Bouygues is deputy chief executive. Company derives 40% of its $40 billion in sales outside of France; has interests in telecom, media, construction. Well-known projects have included the Hassan II mosque in Casablanca, Morocco; the University of Riyadh in Saudi Arabia; the English Channel Tunnel; the Kwun Tong viaduct in Hong Kong; motorways in Hungary and the Sydney CityRail airport link. Martin Bouygues is a close confident of French President Nicolas Sarkozy and godfather of the president's son. His net worth is estimated at approx. USD 2 billion.

Superyacht Baton Rouge was built by Dutch superyacht builder Icon Yachts. Her interior styling is done by REDMAN WHITELEY DIXON and her exterior by TIM HEYWOOD. She was delivered to her owner in 2010.
